Humans benefit from the trees in a forest because trees fix water and soil pollution. Humans are stripping these trees for selling and using the land for more development opportunities. This is stripping the water and soil filters that help protect us from things like lead and mercury. The forest is a very important habitat as it is home to over half of the worlds species. We take the forests away and we cannot make up for the loss of benefits it has.
